On May 30th against Tennessee, Moye went six innings without allowing a run and gave up just one base hit. He walked three batters, but also struck out three in the Stars 5-1 victory.
The game was only Moye’s fourth of the season, and only his third for the Stars.
The 26-year-old right-hander left his first start after just 1.2 innings and landed on the disabled list. He returned to make a rehab start for Wisconsin in late May and pitched 5.1 innings, allowing just one run.
After re-joining the Stars, Moye went four innings on May 25th at Montgomery, allowing only a single run on four hits.
The Stars have a chance to lock up the first-half title in the Southern League’s North Division tonight with Moye’s next start scheduled for Wednesday afternoon in Jackson, Mississippi as Huntsville takes on the Seattle Mariners Double-A affiliate.
