The Brewers dropped their eighth consecutive contest, falling to the Reds 9-7 on Saturday night. Taylor Jungmann started and went five innings, allowing five earned runs. Tyler Cravy gave up three runs in an inning of work and was charged with the loss. Domingo Santana had a big night at the plate, going 3-for-5 with a double and a home run. Logan Schafer also homered while Khris Davis went 2-for-3 with a walk and Adam Lind added a pair of singles.

The Shuckers moved to within a game of winning the Southern League Championship with a 2-0 shutout win over the Lookouts to take a 2-1 lead in the series. Tyler Wagner started and earned the win, going 6.2 innings and striking out eight and Yhonathan Barrios worked the final 2.1 scoreless to pick up the save. Tyrone Taylor reached base four times with a walk, two singles and a double. Yadiel Rivera went 3-for-4 with a double and Michael Reed added a single and a pair of walks.
