MILWAUKEE BREWERS 1, St. Louis Cardinals 5

The Brewers gave up four runs in the first inning and could never recover, falling to the Cardinals 5-1 on Saturday night in St. Louis. Tyler Wagner, making his second big league start, lasted just four innings, allowing all five runs, and was charged with the loss. Jonathan Lucroy collected three of Milwaukee’s seven hits in the game. Martin Maldonado had a single and a double in three trips to the plate while Michael Reed collected a pinch-hit double in his Major League debut and Jason Rogers added a pinch-hit single.
