SUNDAY’S RESULTS

MILWAUKEE BREWERS 5, Cincinnati Reds 4

The Brewers scored single runs in the fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth innings as they clipped the Reds 5-4 in their series finale on Sunday. Jonathan Lucroy collected three hits, including a home run for Milwaukee while Ryan Braun added a walk, a double and his seventh home run of the year and Hernan Perez added a solo shot. Junior Guerra started and went six innings, allowing four runs. Chris Capuano followed and picked up the win with a scoreless seventh and Jeremy Jeffress closed the door in the ninth to record his eighth save.

Oklahoma City Dodgers 8, COLORADO SPRINGS SKY SOX 2

Oklahoma City scored four runs in the first inning and never looked back, rolling over Colorado Springs by a score of 8-2. It was another rough start for Taylor Jungmann, who went four innings and gave up seven runs, six earned. Garin Cecchini reached base in all four of his plate appearances for the Sky Sox, racking up a single, triple and a pair of walks. Keon Broxton singled and stole a base while Orlando Arcia added a single and a base on balls.

BILOXI SHUCKERS 0, Pensacola Blue Wahoos 5

A night after piling up nine runs, the Shuckers were shut out on Sunday afternoon, losing to Pensacola by a score of 5-0. Wei-Chung Wang started and suffered the loss, going five innings and giving up four runs. Garrett Cooper collected half of Biloxi’s hits, going 3-for-4 with a walk and a double. Catcher Rene Garcia added two hits and a walk and Victor Roache reached base four times, picking up a single and three walks.
