FRIDAY’S RESULTS

MILWAUKEE BREWERS 2, New York Mets 3

Michael Conforto belted a two-run home run in the sixth to help the Mets come from behind and knock off the Brewers 3-2. Wily Peralta started and took the loss, allowing three runs in 5.2 innings. Chris Carter belted his 13th home run of the season but it was one of only three Milwaukee hits in the game. Hernan Perez and Jonathan Villar each added a single for the Brewers.

Las Vegas 51s 6, COLORADO SPRINGS SKY SOX 14

The Sky Sox racked up 14 runs on 19 hits as they cruised to a 14-6 win over Las Vegas. Jorge Lopez picked up his first win of the season, going six and allowing four runs. Orlando Arcia, Andy Wilkins and Manny Pina each collected three hits for Colorado Springs while Lopez, Yadiel Rivera, Will Middlebrooks and Shane Peterson each added a pair of hits.

BILOXI SHUCKERS, Tennessee Smokies (Postponed, Rain)

Biloxi had their game with Tennessee postponed due to rain on Friday night. The contest will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Sunday afternoon.

BREVARD COUNTY MANATEES 0, Jupiter Hammerheads 2

The Manatees were shut out in the opener of their series with Jupiter, falling by a score of 2-0. Clint Terry made the start for Brevard and allowed just two runs over five innings, but was charged with the loss. Kender Villegas followed with three scoreless frames, striking out five. Angel Ortega had the lone multi-hit game, going 2-for-4 while Johnny Davis, Elvis Rubio and Jose Cuas each contributed a base hit.

Kane County Cougars 3, WISCONSIN TIMBER RATTLERS 1

Wisconsin dropped the first of their four game set with Kane County by a score of 3-1. David Lucroy started and took the loss, going five innings and allowing two runs. Carlos Belonis finished 1-for-3 with a walk and an RBI. Shortstop Isan Diaz drew a pair of walks and Mitch Ghelfi, David Denson, Max McDowell and Blake Allemand each recorded a single.
