TUESDAY’S RESULTS

Los Angeles Dodgers 6, MILWAUKEE BREWERS 5

The Brewers scored three runs in the eighth but it wasn’t quite enough as they fell to the Dodgers 6-5. Chase Anderson fell to 4-8 on the season after giving up all six runs in just four innings of work. Jonathan Lucrooy led the Brewers offense, going 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles while Ryan Braun also chipped in a double and knocked in two runs.

COLORADO SPRINGS SKY SOX 5, Round Rock Express 3

The Sky Sox scored two runs in the top of the tenth to defeat Round Rock by a score of 5-3. Jorge Lopez started and went 5.1 innings, giving up three runs before turning things over to the bullpen. David Goforth, Michael Kirkman, Corey Knebel and Brent Suter combined to work the final 4.1 scoreless frames with Knebel picking up the win and Suter recording the save. Kyle Wren finished 3-for-5 with a double and Michael Reed added three base hits as well.

BREVARD COUNTY MANATEES 2, Tampa Yankees 5

The Manatees saw their losing streak extend to eleven games as Tampa got a walkoff grand slam in the bottom of the ninth to defeat Brevard County 5-2. Jon Perrin started and went five innings, allowing just one run. Jon Olczak came on to work the ninth and allowed four runs without retiring a batter to suffer the loss. Dustin DeMuth had a single, double and a walk while Elvis Rubio added a double and Clint Coulter singled for the only other Brevard hit.

Clinton LumberKings 5, WISCONSIN TIMBER RATTLERS 3

The Timber Rattlers got home runs from Jake Gatewood and David Denson but it wasn’t enough as they lost to Clinton 5-3 Conor Harber started and was charged with the loss despite allowing just one earned run over five innings of work. Luis Aviles, Mitch Ghelfi, Max McDowell and Sthervin Matos each added a single for the other Wisconsin hits in the game.

Missoula Osprey 2, HELENA BREWERS 4

Yerald Martinez belted a pair of home runs as Helena doubled up Missoula 4-2. Jordan Desguin started and got the win, going six innings and giving up two runs while Colton Cross notched his second save with a scoreless ninth. Lucas Erceg singled doubled and drew a walk in four plate appearances while Joantgel Segovia finished 2-for-4 with a walk.

DSL Cardinals, DSL BREWERS (Postponed, Rain)

The Brewers and the Cardinals had their Dominican Summer League game postponed on Tuesday due to rain. It will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Wednesday.
