MONDAY’S RESULTS

COLORADO SPRINGS SKY SOX 1, Reno Aces 10

Reno beat up on Colorado Springs on Monday night as the Aces cruised to a 10-1 win over the Sky Sox. Josh Hader got the start for Colorado Springs and took the loss, giving up five earned runs over 3.2 innings of work. Kyle Wren finished 2-for-5 with a home run while Garin Cecchini and Michael Reed each chipped in a pair of hits for the Sky Sox.

Birmingham Barons 2, BILOXI SHUCKERS 0

The Shuckers were shutout by Birmingham, falling by a score of 2-0. Brooks Hall started and went seven scoreless innings, striking out eight, but the Barons got to Tayler Scott for two runs in the eighth as Scott suffered the loss. Nick Ramirez reached base twice with a single and a walk and Garrett Cooper and Angel Ortega each added a base hit.

BREVARD COUNTY MANATEES 5, Palm Beach Cardinals 4

The Manatees rallied to tie the game with two runs in the top of the ninth, the added another in the top of he 11th to pull out a 5-4 win over Palm Beach. Eric Hanhold got the start and went seven innings, giving up four runs. Brad Kuntz worked the final inning and two-thirds and earned the win. Corey Ray finished 2-for-4 with a double and a walk and George Iskenderian added a single and double in five trips to the plate.

WISCONSIN TIMBER RATTLERS 3, Dayton Dragons 8

The Rattlers dropped the final game of their series to Dayton, losing by a score of 8-3. Thomas Jankins started and took the loss, giving up three earned runs over three innings. Isan Diaz walked and hit his 13th home run of the season. Sthervin Matos also homered for Wisconsin and Luis Aviles added a single and a walk in four plate appearances.

HELENA BREWERS 3, Ogden Raptors 4

Helena scored two runs in the top of the eighth to tie things, but Ogden answered with a run in the bottom half of the inning to edge the Brewers 4-3. Matt Smith started and went five innings, giving up two runs. Karsen Lindell followed and was charged with the loss after allowing two runs over three innings. Lucas Erceg finished 2-for-4 with a double and a home run while Gilbert Lara added two doubles and a walk.

AZL BREWERS 5, AZL Mariners 3

The Brewers jumped out to an early lead and held on for a 5-3 win over he Mariners. Emerson Gibbs started and went four innings, giving up just two unearned runs. Miguel Sanchez picked up the win with Jeremy Newton recording the save. Jose Gomez led the offense, going 3-for-4 with a walk while Trey York and Payton Henry each finished with two hits.

DSL BREWERS 3, DSL Braves 4

The Braves plated a run in the bottom of the tenth inning to walk off with a 4-3 extra innings win over the Brewers. Maiker Pinto started and went six innings, giving up two runs. Alberto Paulino was tagged with the loss after allowing an uneared run in two innings on the mound. Moises Perez hit his third home run of the season while Bryan Torres added a double and Aaron Familia singled and drove in a run.
