TUESDAY’S RESULTS

Atlanta Braves 2, MILWAUKEE BREWERS 1

The Braves scored two runs in the top of the seventh to edge the Brewers 2-1 at Miller Park on Tuesday night. Wily Peralta returned to the Brewers rotation and was charged with the loss after giving up two runs over six plus innings. Ryan Braun hit his 19th home run of the season and Chris Carter finished 2-for-3 with a double.

COLORADO SPRINGS SKY SOX 3, Omaha Storm Chasers 1

The Sky Sox scored single runs in the third, fourth and fifth innings as they beat Omaha by a score of 3-1. Hiram Burgos started and went six innings, giving up just one run to earn the victory. Damien Magnifico recorded his 16th save. Lewis Brinson led the offense, going 2-for-4 while Josmil Pinto added his eighth home run of the year.

Pensacola Blue Wahoos 7, BILOXI SHUCKERS 4

Biloxi scored four runs in the eighth inning but it wasn’t enough as they lost to Pensacola 7-4. Jorge Lopez started and was charged with the loss after giving up five runs over five innings of work. Jacob Nottingham reached base three times, going 2-for-3 with a walk and Johnny Davis added a single and a pair of walks in five trips to the plate.

BREVARD COUNTY MANATEES 6, Lakeland Tigers 4

Brevard got a little help from Mother Nature as they knocked off Lakeland 6-4 in a game that was called due to rain in the sixth inning. Marcos Diplan got the start and the win, going five plus innings and giving up four runs. Fidel Pena led the offense, going 2-for-3 with a grand slam while Corey Ray added two hits and a walk.

Kane County Cougars 6, WISCONSIN TIMBER RATTLERS 7

Wisconsin scored five runs in the bottom of the ninth to walk off with a 7-6 victory over Kane County. Thomas Jankins got the start and went three innings, giving up one run. David Lucroy went the final 2.1 innings and got the win. Lucas Erceg went 2-for-4 with a double and a home run and Isan Diaz and Troy Stokes each added a single and a double.

HELENA BREWERS 7, Grand Junction Rockies 4

Helena scored seven runs on ten hits as they defeated the Rockies 7-4. Cameron Roegner got the start and worked five innings, allowing just one run to earn the win. Colton Cross recorded the save. Cooper Hummel went 2-for-3 with a walk while Ryan Aguilar and Ronnie Gideon each added a single and a double and Gilbert Lara chipped in a pair of base hits.

AZL Reds 10, AZL BREWERS 4

The Brewers offense was quiet until the ninth when they put up four runs, but it wasn’t nearly enough as they fell to the Reds 10-4. Joan De La Cruz worked a scoreless first inning, but Blake Lillis gave up two runs, one earned in two innings of relief and took the loss. Trey York had three hits in five at-bats and Gabriel Garcia finished 2-for-3 with a double and two walks.

DSL Tigers 0, DSL BREWERS 5

The Brewers snapped their losing streak on Tuesday morning behind eight strong innings from Harold Chirino, who allowed just four hits while striking out five to earn the win. Leadoff hitter Luis Manon paced the offense, going 3-for-4 with a double. Javier Castillo also added three hits and Antonio Perez went 2-for-4.
