SUNDAY’S RESULTS

MILWAUKEE BREWERS 7, Seattle Mariners 6

The Brewers scored four runs in the top of the ninth to come from behind and knock off the Mariners 7-6 on Sunday afternoon. Matt Garza started but lasted just 3.2 innings, giving up six runs. Tyler Thornburg worked the final two scoreless to earn the win. Keon Broxton led Milwaukee’s offense, going 2-for-5 with two home runs while Chris Carter also homered for the Brewers.

COLORADO SPRINGS SKY SOX 6, Round Rock Express 0

Josh Hader tossed six scoreless innings of two-hit ball as the Sky Sox topped Round Rock 6-0. Hader struck out a career high 12 batters and earned the win for Colorado Springs. Kyle Wren went 3-for-5 from the leadoff spot while Brandon Macias added a home run and Eric Young Jr. finished 2-for-4 with four runs batted in.

BILOXI SHUCKERS 6, Mobile Bay Bears 11

Mobile scored three in the first and went on to defeat Biloxi by a score of 11-6. Angel Ventura got the start and took the loss after going 6.1 and giving up eight runs. Nick Ramirez went 2-for-4 with a home run while Tyrone Taylor, Clint Coulter and Johnny Davis each added a pair of hits.

Tampa Yankees 8, BREVARD COUNTY MANATEES 3

Tampa put up five runs in the first as they topped Brevard County 8-3. Cody Ponce got the start and was charged with the loss, going just one inning and giving up five runs, four earned. Wendell Rijo finished 3-for-4 with a double and Corey Ray added two hits in four trips to the plate.

Beloit Snappers 2, WISCONSIN TIMBER RATTLERS 3

Wisconsin plated a run in the bottom of the tenth to walk off with a 3-2 win over Beloit. Matt Smit started and went 4.2 innings, allowing two runs. Jordan Yamamoto worked the final four scoreless and earned the win. Lucas Erceg finished 2-for-3 with a walk while Juan Ortiz homered and Isan Diaz and Trent Clark each added a double.

Great Falls Voyagers 3, HELENA BREWERS 6

Helena scored six runs in the seventh inning as they doubled up Great Falls 6-3. Rodrigo Benoit started and went five innings, allowing only one run. Nash Walters earned the win with Colton Cross recording the save. Trever Morrison went 2-for-4 while Demi Orimoloye added his third home run of the season.

AZL White Sox 6, AZL BREWERS 9

In the completion of Saturday night’s suspended game, the Brewers scored nine runs in the seventh inning to defeat the White Sox 9-6. Victor Diaz started and went 2.2 innings, giving up three runs. Carlos Herrera earned the win with Andrew Vernon collecting the save. Jay Feliciano went 2-for-4 with a double while Tyrone Perry also added a pair of hits.

AZL BREWERS 8, AZL White Sox 2

The Brewers earned a sweep of their doubleheader, winning game two by a score of 8-2. Wilson Adams got the start and worked two scoreless innings. Nelson Hernandez followed and gave up just two unearned runs over the final five frames for the win. Jay Feliciano hit his fifth home run since joining the Brewers AZL club and Gabriel added three hits in four at-bats.
