Spring Training Game Recap: 2/26/17

Los Angeles Dodgers 10, MILWAUKEE BREWERS 8

The Brewers fell to the Dodgers in their Cactus League home opener by a score of 10-8 on Sunday afternoon in Maryvale. The Dodgers put up four runs in the top of the third inning, but the Brewers answered back with a line drive two-run home run off the bat of left fielder Ryan Cordell.  LA tacked on three more in the top of the fourth, but Milwaukee scored three in their half of the fourth and then two in the fifth to tie the game.  The Brewers briefly took the lead in the sixth as Brett Phillips scored on a single by Jesus Aguilar, but the Dodgers tied things up again in the top of the seventh on a home run by Rob Segedin.  Cody Bellinger and Alex Verdugo each went yard against lefty Andrew Barbosa in the eighth to make the score 10-8 and that would be the final as the Brewers dropped their second straight Cactus League contest.
